“I started working with Fort McKay in 2011. I was hired as a Heavy Equipment Operator, then parts runner and then moved into a leadership position. In my role as a Manager, I like showing up every morning and keeping everyone happy. Providing the community with the opportunity for growth.

I like seeing people growing and succeeding. That’s what I like about my job. Our focus is to hire Indigenous people. Within this period of time, our goal is to focus on planning and development of our employees so they can reach the level of a Team Lead or a Shift Supervisor and work in management roles.
